In SAT mode the program or the transceiver gives an uplink and down link

Elmer's Wanted, I am ready to make the final connections to my station

I got my TechnoTrend S2-1600 the other day and tried to get it to work on a
Windows XP and a Windows 7 machine. Both machines are presently out of
commission because of driver issues and

Hello all
I have recently been unsuccessful in sending digital packets to the ISS
since the change in radios on the station.
I use an Elk with my Yaesu VX8DR and the path I use is ARISS. I have
recently tried adding a WIDE to that path to see if I could get gated, but
have been largely

The ISS Maildrop is great for people in low population areas. I found out the
hard way about using it in the US. Now I and others on the west coast are
suffering because a certain someone keeps logging in EVERY pass and is not even
holding the connection. The email address is no good on QRZ.

There were two ISS packet signals noted on Saturday, August 7 at 1223 - 1243
UTC at
AOS - San Luis Potosi, Mexico to LOS - New York/Vermont border. Both packet

I misstated the UTC time in the original message. It should have been 0423 -
0443,
which is 12:23 - 12:43 am local EDT.
On the latest pass, August 7, 1243 - 1247 UTC ISS packets are still coming
through the 2M downlink on 145.950 FM interfering with reception of the SSTV

I have broken by previous record of posting 9 messages in one
pass to ISS BBS by posting 12 messages to international space station
BBS , I have sent 12 messages to 11 hams they had a post on ISS

So the general opinion on here and from some people across the world is that
using the BBS ruins the pass for basicly everyone in the footprint. Well after
my friend in Reno could not get a message on while I was on the BBS and myself
while he was on it, I can see the truth of the matter is

Glad to see active people and not BEACONS using the ISS Digi. Dont get me
wrong, they serve their purpose...

Now that I can actually send and receive messages off the ISS is there anyone
around here doing it? I think that alot of the calls that show up here

dont want to clog up the BBS with messages that will never be

According to Roscosmos, the ISS has been reboosted again. The slippage of
times should be nearly five minutes a day using old Keps. The Celestrak
downloads have the updated values.
