Obviously my suggestion that adding the phrase "Full Duplex Satellite Capable"
might increase that

No idea why it's not in the literature, but it definitely is full duplex,

KD2EXR does a great job on SO-50 with two Baofeng UV-B5s. Check out
his QRZ.com page.
His entire FM satellite station cost under $100 and he seems to hear
just as well as anyone (probably better than most, actually).
