Should I be able to use
LOGFILE /usr2/netscape/analog/logs/*-access
on Solaris, because it isn't resolving the wildcard

Firstly, I've just upgraded to analog 4.0 and the cache file facility is

I've created cache files for all our old logfiles, but forgot to add all
the ARGSEXCLUDE lines I wanted into the analog.cfg file.
I can see why I can't add new FILEEXCLUDE, HOSTEXCLUDE etc lines
As neither Steven nor anyone else seemed to have an answer to my problem
(appearing below), I delved deeper. After splitting up the log files into
several files all below 5 Meg and running analog on different combinations
of them, I realised it wasn't anything in the logfiles that was causing the
