You are absolutely right. I followed the original bb recipes in OE,
which were totally crap and unnecessarily cumbersome, after careful
reading of the Makefiles/config.mk/options.mk files in roadmap. I'm
reworking on it now.

Not Angstrom, but similar distro. And I also used the poky scripts.
Straight poky-qemu did not work and I took the command line it emits and
removed all network related stuff. qemu then booted into X11 and opie fine.

block to build opie-image for just those machines that are supported in Opie
at the moment. I know this is a lot of images to build, but we do want a wide
