I am not sure about this time around, but inside sources of the last
concert in Dubai at 2004 did confirm that Rahman had lip synced most
of the songs back then. A fact that did cause a friction between the
event promoters and Rahman back then.
I got a similar feeling this time too with
No Gopal. It wasnt performed by ARR. They had just played it on the screen (

I'd been to the Changing Notes ( A.R. Rahman's Concert ) today at St.
Georges School Grounds which was advertised on
Sounds of change in chennai is changing me ! A wow :) for capturing raw things
realities. I love them. I was taught with an added info that this promo tune
starts with sahana raga travels with navarasakanada raga ? any pundits here
to confirm ? whatever it is, i love this subtle music :)

yesterday i had my first brush wid magic. i saw ar rahman live in
concert. but thts only a part of the magic. the other part was the
effect the music and the person had on the thousands who came to see
him. yesterday i realised why arr has such a huge fan base. his
music is the best in the
:) [The entrance of ARR of course provided a lot of excitement and the crowd
literally pushed us and gave us too options stand up or get trampled.
Once we stood, the crowd again gave us 2 options move off or get pushed and

TOI have clearly mentioned in there paper that there are only limited
entries and please come early to Arena, and the organizers stoped
people who came after concert started or came late
Offcourse i dont have words to thank TOI. for organizing such a huge

change to suit chennai people crowd. amazing
any idea about some television channel recording changing notes chennai
concert??? i will be extremely happy if some channel can telecast this
concert later this year..
I will have to admit that Khwaja mere Khwaja song grew on me only after
months.. After I saw the song in the movie, the song attracted me more.
Nowadays, I would rate this song one of the best soulful renditions of
Rahman.
All I did was to just gave me some time for the song to grow on me. This
I came to know thru my friend that the gate was closed by 6.15pm.
He parked his car somewhere in Kilpauk and has entered the venue by climbing
the walls..
TOI should have chosen some other place..
