Kaiser,
It can. You will need to downgrade the database level of the SQL server to
whatever is the compatible level for Remedy 6.3. There is a SQL stored
procedure to achieve that called sp_dbcmptlevel. I had done this on an

Hi,
I am still confused.
Are you saying you need a java class as a bridge between your form and the
service that access the DB?
Is the service that access DB a web-service?
Sorry but I am just trying to understand from architectural perspective.
Thanks

Hi Chintan..
Thank you for reply...
But, I "think", that we can use web services in this case... because our
service that access database (mainframe) is already done...
we only have to do a java class to access that and, further, use a set fields
action to populate our fields on our form..
In my experience (testing only, quite a while ago) it should run fine if
it was installed on SQL Server 2000 and then you upgrade SQL Server from
2000 to 2005. The ARS 6.3 installer is not able to create a new
ARSystem database on a SQL Server 2005 instance, so I would not expect

How and what causes the ramp in "arserverd" memory. What makes it jump from

Is it possible to use WSDL instead of Java API?
You can perform set fields action in a filter by consuming a WSDL.
I am only aware of this option. If you find something through API, please
share.
Thanks

I have been using TOAD for a number of years now. One of the features
is to be able to run a script with TOAD, SQLPlus, or QSR. This way you
can use the ability to popup a list of fields for a table or view and
check your code before running it.
