We have recently upgraded to midtier 8.1, and we are unable to select rows on a
table rendered in this midtier on an ipad. It's fine in all other browsers,
just doesn't allow select of the row on the i-pad. Happens same on all forms.

Yes, I had same issue. If you are running the SunONE LDAP, there is an
attribute, oddly enough, called entryid. It is SunONE's unique
identifier, which works much better than using names. I'm guessing the
other LDAP brands will have a similar attribute. You may need to perform
