Well, one thing you could do is to evaluate the opening of the Help Desk form, and if the user is a member of that group, open the form in a Search mode, and then add the Filter that Scott suggested to ensure that they don't attempt to change that window. You could also add an Active Link that

A few other options to consider Saji. 1. If there are only a small number of fields that you want them to be able to able to update, then don't let them update the ticket directly. Build them a dialog that pushes into a transactions form. A filter on that form would update the Help Desk form.
