For the past two years, Asbury Park has experienced a 15 percent
increase in beach and boardwalk revenues. Last year, thousands
thronged to the newly renovated boardwalk, seasonal concessions,
pristine beaches, crystal waters and the continuous roster of events

30 people in two years. Come to Asbury but wear a hardhat.

I thought the pictures did a pretty good job of making it appear Larry
was actually spending some money and then you come along and destroy
my myth.

the beach/boardwalk today is actually 'crowded' by asbury standards.
ok maybe crowded is really stretching it, but there is definitely
signs of life, i saw more people there today than i saw all of last
year. The one thing i find puzzling though is that they are having a
free concert series
there is no mention of it on the sign on main, and i didnt see
anything in the loacal papers about it. This seems to be the norm
for city sponsored (im not sure that who is sponsoring it) events
down on the waterfront. I think a little more attention to PR and
marketing for these types of
Â…popular act like Billy Idol fails to sell enough tickets for a
concert on Memorial Day weekend you know that they aren't doing
promotion well.
Where's it say a Master Developer needs to know anything about
promotion? Matter of fact, why should he know anything about
