I agree that these buildings from the past should be saved. However at what costs? Since they were purchased after the redevelopment would it be right to simply hand them over to the current owner? And at what cost? Would the city they have to adjust hieght of building to make good on the lost

I would love to see the public be able to vote straight up for something like
Missouri's Governor signed into Law an anti EDA Legislation. In
Missouri if your seizing land, even if it is a road you must pay in addition to
market value a heritage value - a premium of at least 50% additional of market
value.
