Is the new roof on the Casino going to be covered with copper of
some sort? Or was that just the back half that had the copper?

the casino deconstruction is moving along pretty fast. i was over there
yesterday, hadnt been for a few days, was surpised to see how much stuff they
already removed in the few days of my absence.

ASBURY PARK If anyone hasn't said goodbye, it's probably time to do

On Thursday, Larry Fishman, chief operating officer of Asbury
Partners, and Henry Vacca
I went to look at the drawings of the Casino restoration today. It
shows the elevation of the buildings with the Carousel House on the
left and part over the beach on the right. That would be the South
Elevation of the building, in other words, if you stood on the Ocean
Grove side of the Casino

it looks like the casino demolation will be taking place anyday now. i was just over that way today. they are removing the copper roofings over the bow windows, and a few copper panales from around the windows.

I know the state paid something like $1.5 million for the restoration
of CH's water tower; I wonder if they have been approached for funds
to save the Casino/ice rink complex? I'm betting Werner knows and it

people. things look good, with lots of people.
everything is open, and looking crowded. i walked
through the casino myself, and everything is well
cleaned up. not a large mess with possiably falling
debris like some of you make it out to be
For the casino to be restored, much less CH - unless they fund it
themselves - I don't think there would be a bank out there - not
even amboy - that would fund a restoration - unless of course, they
had some potential tenants (strong ones)who will committ to some
long term leases. In the end

would require $30+ million in environmental remediation? Have you
ever seen an expert report estimating these costs? I am sorry, but I
