25 years ago....the Casino was "reopened" to foot traffic.

You had 2 Choices:

1. Risk walking through.
2. Risk the folks hanging out around the walk around along the lake.

At least now, there is less to fall on your head, other then pigeon
shit.

They charge to go look at ruins like. Maybe Fish will charge to go in
and take pictures.

Maybe their lawyers told them "Do Not Enter" means enter at your
risk - thus removing them from liability.

In most towns, the bottom of their Certificate of Occupancy forms
have a disclaimer that an inspection does make them legally liable
for anything. Thats for a BS inspection.

For a building inspection - I'd bet you can name the City. Since the
City owns the boardwalk (last time we looked), you don't get into the
casino unless you access it from the BW. How came the south side of
the casino wasn't done?

Lastly, when it was reopened years ago, ZIPPO came through. Not
throngs of people waiting on the other side of the gate. I was there -
waiting.

The buildings are in the worst shape they've ever been in, whats left
of them.
