They just don't want to do it. They are at war with the council and city
manager. They don't like each other. This is gonna turn into a big ugly legal
battle at some point. Quite simply, I believe the governing body of the city
and Mr. Mottola have differing views of beachfront development.
They're gonna bully the city into paying for the sprinklers. You can see it
coming. The MM relationship with the city has been deteriorating for a long
time. Its clear Mottola wants out and the weaklings at city hall have no
gumption to battle them. Don't tell me Reidy is gonna bond this too.
a week or so ago someone suggested here that perhaps MM would be
interested in taking over for Metro. Think it might have been Dan.
Does anyone have any more information in regard to that? I know MM
just raised approx 480 million a little while back to deploy so
perhaps they would be
Having the advantage of our editorial board being made up of
litigators, we were able to cross examine and pull info out of Madison
Marquette that the AP Press was not.
Turns out, not all is as the AP Press would have us believe. Very
interesting stuff.
Read all about it on Thursday.

I don't like the idea of not having a carousel inside the carousel building.
Maybe they will change their minds later on, although im doubtfull.
I'm glad he didn't like the current Ocean ave. layout either. He also
said major changes to the plan would take place, soon? Like what? I
I wonder if anyone asked about the Lake ave. close off? It wasn't posted, but
this was only part one?

The deal(s) are not signed. Not with the City and not with Partners.
Know what's holding it up? MM wants the City to guarantee to
schedules in which it will review plans/permits and respond back to
MM if there are problems. MM doesn;t want it chain jerked. Time is
money. MM has drawn a line in

to find them anymore. are there new ones? or has everyone been talking about
the one showing the curvey boardwalk? if anyone has the link, let me know.
thanks.

I have it on good sources that MM has not done a deal with Fishman,
and quite frankly, may not do anything if Fishman and Partners stay
in the deal. They are quite fed up with these bunch of losers and
continually shake their heads at how a city could have possibly given
the redevelopment
