Funny, while it's easy to blame it on drug users, the timing
couldn't have been better, since Summer has officially ended. There's
corruption in Neptune just as there is in Asbury! That was a really

It was the old, abandoned swim club. I've never seen a bigger fire. For awhile,
the OG
boardwalk was also on fire. Fortunately, the wind was blowing toward the north.
If it was

The many FD's involved with keeping this from becoming worse really did an
amazing job.
This fire was huge. Early on, the OG boardwalk was on fire in 2 different
places,
threatening the pavilion on the OG boardwalk. What really strikes me is that
the wind was
blowing north instead of south.
The building in question was originally a swim club, long abandoned.
Skateboarders and graffitti people have frequented the pool for years.
As I was walking home, many people were talking about what might be the cause
of the
fire, and most of the talk was about squatters and street people who

I just posted my photos of the fire under the Photos tab. Too early
to put a morning after shot.
That was one of the biggest fires I've ever seen.

I'm on Deal Lake Drive and can smell it.
The fire engines seem to be over near the Berkeley.
Anybody see anything?

Understood.. thanks for the clarification.
I do not agree on all points. In my opinion now that the market is
difficult, they need to spend more than ever to market the property.
They are also contracting
