I vaguelyremember reading in newspapers from Assam a few years ago, thata corrupt-free government officer named Rajkhowa came back to Guwahati and made office employees show up on time at work. I am not sure if we are talking about the same person.
And yes, welcome to the group, Mr. Rajkhowa. My

Umesh,
If you wish ,you can ask Yashpal Singh to visit Dhubri--very easy-
Get into Rajdhani Express from New Delhi Rail Stn. and after 24 Hrs he reaches Kokrajhar Stn.
Take Bus/Taxi to Dhubri-2 HRS.
Go to the Gurdwara. The Giani will help him with everything.
He might carry on to Guwahati-the

I had a big laugh reading your suggestion. In stead of the scholar getting an

I do not know about Mr Yashpal Singh but I would certainly take up your info
and use it to visit Dhubri and neighboring arreas when I come next to India. I

Why can't you see the simple!
If Yashpal Singh was so keen on knowing the history of their Guru's travels to distant Assam:
Then he will surely be interested in knowing about how a whole battalion of Sikh mercenaries coming in as soldiers of fortune got stuck for good on the banks of Kopili.
And
This all needs research--and an eventual -logical Ph.D.
