I run it on a 2d3 and it works fine. Can't think why it wouldn't work on a 3d3. Of course, that assumes you're using the LAN port for your public network (WAN) connection, and wireless (via miniPCI slot) for your internal network... Why go with the 3d3 and not a 2d3? On 11/12/2009 10:00 AM,

I also use vitelity, have done for a few years now. At first I just used them for outbound, after I got comfortable with their reliability I did a number port (about a year ago) and cancelled AT&T. They have cheap 800 # DID's too. The only negative I can come up with is that I call the UK a lot.

Mike, The 3d3 will work with the 'alix' image but only with serial output. It should also work with the geni586 image, but won't have as many of the extra features such as led light control on the front panel. If you're just starting now, I'd grab the svn build images I put up the other day:
