Sorry another issue I have found with the APU1 (likely 2 as well):
Make sure your power adaptor 2.5mm plug is at least 10mm long. I bought a
number that are not long enough and they fall out easily :(

Hi Michael
I added SMTP_FROM, with no effect. I contacted the ISP who hosts that
domain, and they say that a recent cPanel update has changed their default
SMTP response time to 30 seconds. I don't see an SMTP_TIMEOUT value on the
Network tab. What is the SMTP timeout set to as default, and can I

You really should host the sound files on your own HTTP server with the same

Hi,
For AstLinux installs, the current sweet spot is a mSATA/SATA SSD in the 16-32
GB range. Though recently, quality 64 GB and 128 GB SSD's can be found at
great prices given their economies of scale.
Please reply to this thread to offer your suggestions for quality, well priced

Stefan,
The default "Sounds Pkg URL:" (set in Prefs tab) uses downloads.asterisk.org
and no German sound files are available there.
You would need to specify an alternate "Sounds Pkg URL:" with German sound
files organized like http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/sounds

Hi all,
on the system page of astlinux it is possible to download language packages,
but for other languages than "english" seems not to work. I tried for German,
but the download failed:
SHA1 download failed for sound package "core-sounds-de-ulaw".
How can I install German language packages (c

Found it. It's in voicemail.conf:
serveremail = Eastburn voicemail
So should I correct that, rather than add adding that user to users.conf?
Thanks

Ah, you might be onto something. We have no SMTP_FROM user set up in
users.conf. However, I've looked at a voicemail notification which has come
to me on our internal domain, and the sender is:
Eastburn voicemail [Eastburn voicem...@eastburnpbx.nnpa.com]
I don't know where this has been set, howe

I'll find out the timestamp of one of the messages - thanks very much. Out
of interest, why would an alias or list be a problem?
Thanks

Hello all
Voicemail to email works fine for members of our organization. However, we
now host external companies who use our AstLinux installation. This has been
fine for a couple of years, but we now have a specific company who receive
multiple email notifications per voicemail. The emails arrive
