I'm afraid when I tried Libra office it just wasn't up to the task. Part of this might been access, EG it was very frustrating that everytime I used the spellcheck I was bounced back up to the top of the document, part however is just the fact that at the moment

Libra office is like word, excell, numbers, powerpoint, all that. It is a free program. And yes, the developers listen to accessibility. And it is also open source, so add-ons can be installed with it I believe

You can set a default font, font size, and line spacing options in Word. I have mine set to APA 12 font Times New Roman, double spaced.

Hi Dark,I do the same, when creating surveys for my masters thesis and such. The survey software is inaccessible so I had to get assistance from the disability resource center. Same for essays etc, as I didn't know how the text looked.

Using editors apart from WYSIWYG editors might help here. I myself used and am using Latex for all of my thesis. Its not like this will end up producing no errors at all, but it will reduce the amount of visible problems. You will still require someone sighted to take

I'll admit this is one area where I simply paid someone else to do it. This is because for writing a phd thesis, matters such alignment, spacing, footnote pagination etc are pretty rigid in terms of expectations, and the last thing I'd want is to fail due

My question is simple... how do you get your paper formatted correctly? What I mean is, how do you apply the font size, the double spacing, the indention, and all that jazz? I have tried using google docs with Chrome, but no luck. When I open the file I'm stuck
