Nobody gets a room flat from 100-18k using foam. Foam does next to

Thanks to Heuer's article a few months ago, I built my own linear PSU
and have been extremely pleased with the results. I used a Power One
HB5-3 (5V, 3A) PSU with over voltage protection and voltage sensing.
I bought two of these PSU's and have just completed my 'Mark II' PSU,
so my Mark I is
For those wondering about making b-stock purchaces, I have some
first-hand experience to relate.
I went ahead and purchased a DENON DRA-395 from SecondAct.biz, one of
DENON's authorized distributors of b-stock and reconditioned items.
Mine was b-stock, which means it could have been a dealer

In contrast the DEQ9624 provides 31 band graphic eq, also parametric

I am biased, but you cannot do much worse than getting a Naim Nait 5i. I
own the 5i and still own the mini Nait 2 that is more than 20 years old

Anything known about this DAC here?
I have the MkI, and it's my favorite DAC so far (owned DAC1, DA10,

(more a flavor issue than technical betterment), but the build quality
is off the chart. I could hit
