Indeed. There is no need to measure bit-perfectness since it is
assured by virtue of the fact that HDCD or DTS-encoded rips just
wouldn't work at all if a bit was altered!.

For ripping, I'd suggest you go with EAC or dbPowerAmp. These (and
probably others) are nice in that they will compare checksum data of
your rip against an online database (AccurateRip) of other users rips.
If your rips 100% match other users rips, you can be fairly certain
you've got it right!
