The output of the digital out is bit identical wav vs flac . That you can prove for yourself with DTS or HDCD material should one bit go astray then the decoding of dts or hdcd would break down . -- Mnyb Main hifi: SB3

Hi all again, curiosity will kill the cat (...me...), i've downloaded Audio diffmaker then attached my SB to a ALESIS IO2 USB Sound card (analog output), then played 1 min of OLD LOVE in WAVE and the same 1 Min in FLAC converted in WAVE on the server, then compared. This is the result:

Same test as before but inverted (wave-flac) comparation: parameters: 61,6msec, 0,005dB (L), 0,006dB (R)..Corr Depth: 80,2 dB (L), 65,1 dB (R) If someone could explain me how, i'll be glad to post fhe DIFF file (is 10 MB). Thanks. -- marcoc1712
