I was sitting in the airport reading that...and was just dying to see
the capacitance measurements on the JPS cable.Guess they weren't
able to do that.
Curious, but I'll bet it would be brutal.

I think there is something to burn in. I have noticed it with switching
out a new cap. It's not huge. I'm not sure about wire. I would tend to
think that is bunk. With caps there is a "healing" process that occurs.
There are micro perfs in the foil that need to burn in or heal
themselves. These ho

I just posted a response to the cable debate that addresses this issue.
Black is the absence of a noisy background. Sounds simple. Its not
easy. Everything from caps to cords come into play. Its the full
picture. Signal to noise is the concept. How its implemented system

who cares? - been there with the chase for THD specs. I'm sure JPS has
them. Sound is what matters. If metrics are what matter no-one would

My cat7 cable is much more robust than the cat5e.
After reading many of the posts on this topic, I was moved to flip
through the "archives" of my mind about some of the cable reviews that
left an impression on me. Most cable "reviews" are vague and of
questionable value due to the number of variables involved. I tend to
not take them seriously. T
After perusing this thread, I thought I would post a breakdown of what I
have spent on my "audiophile" setup. These items are the money I have
spent specifically to get good sound. Other costs, like my PC, network
switches, remote control devices, etc. are not included because they
are coincidenta

Yep - that article is complete cr@p... and has no relevance at all to
