If you are going to perform surgery on the Touch you are much better off getting rid of or bypassing the output caps all together. The DAC chip already has a circuit which provides a signal that has no DC bias, there is no need for a cap on the output. I really have no idea why there is one in

Its already been stated that the dc blocking caps on the touch are not required by the AK dac chip as it already outputs 0v dc. Mine are removed and the pads linked. The clocks are low noise regulation powering quality oscillators. Ideally they should be much closer to the mux chips they supply

This DAC seems to be an really old design what does it's manual say ? Even if it's filter is 24bit it seems to be an 18bit DAC and I supose limited to 48kHZ You can still use with a SBT untill you play 96 or 88.2 kHz content . Otherwise an SB3 also outputs 24bit so it truncates to 18 probably
