For those who are running Transporter directly connected to the
amplifier and looking for a better way to switch their gear, I have an
awesome solution. Buy the Emotiva Trigger, it comes with all the cables,
install the plugin called PowerSwitch II and you are set.

ah. useful. to be clear, what is the input side of the Emotiva Trigger
plugging into at the Transporter?
Connect the IR Out from Transporter to Trigger In on Emotiva trigger. It
is expecting 5v min. per specification, but it works with 3.25 v that
should be there on IR Out when

If you plan to use the NAD C390DD why do you need the loop ?the DEQ2496

And you can also go Airport Express NAD, and use the NAD's remote to
select the appropriate digital input - job done.
It strikes me that if you do go this route, you can think about selling
the Transporter (whose DAC and I/O flexibility you won't be using) and
replace it
Based on your statement I need something like this in the loop to switch
inputs

Thank you for your reply. I am surprised that there are no preamp/dac
that offers digital loop, another unique feature in Transporter.
Need your feedback on DACs, what is the best route to take:
1) Transporter - Digital - HK/NAD
2) Transporter - Analog - KH/NAD

The NAD C-390DD is completely digital in it signal processing so
anything but the digital input would be wrong in that case imho .
You get an DA-AD-DA path instead of just DA in the NAD , in fact thats
seesm to be the whole point with nad's M and 390DD
You are absolutely right

You may not be able to use this SPDIF switchbox in the manner you
expect. For it to do what you want, you'd need to have the TP and the
airport express connected in to it, have its output connected to the
input of the DEQ, and the the DEQ's output connected to the TP's digital
Thanks for the reply and sorry for not being clear.
My current setup is:
1. Airport Express Digital out Transporter Digital in (No room
correction at the moment, Inguz cannot work)
2. LMS Inguz Transporter Amp (using transporter as a pre with room
correction)
Proposed setup:
1. Airport
Any help is appreciated

I am running Airplay using Airport Express into Transporter's
digital-in. I wanted to do room correction on Airplay. Currently, room
correction is applied using Inguz. I am thinking of buying DEQ2496 or
something similar to insert it in the digital loop. Will this work?
Transporter - Inguz - NAD C162 - 2x NAD C272 Bridge - Magnepan 1.7
everything is controlled via iOS, devices thanks to Squeezebox server
and IR Blaster support.

Sorry to be blunt but this makes no sense. You can buy miniDSP for $125
for a 2x4 (2 way) with PEQ, Delay etc. Going active is affordable now!
lets focus our attention to something more important.

Can you get more with DEQx vs Tact? or try putting a miniDSP in front of

Audio interacts with its surrounding both at recording and reproduction

reproduction stage.
