Thanks for the help here.
The new buyer reports the remote isn't working, the unit doesn't
respond to it. Would that make the Xilinx reset basically impossible to
do?

Does anyone know how to reach Sean Adams? He used to accept PMs here
(long time ago) and I see he still posts/checks in periodically. I
figured he could settle the hardware or server issue pretty
definitively and quickly.
Thanks everyone,

seems to restore it, until the next glitch.
Running Vista Ultimate and the latest version of the server software.

into something still capable, but more affordable later.

difference is still very noticable, possibly even more so.

I originally had the SMPS plugged into the same strip and it made the
same noise. I moved it to a different outlet to try and solve the
problem.
I will look into the choke option. I'm also building a linear PSU, so
that may take care of the problem completely.
Thanks, all!

record, and
there is nothing like this in any files pre-SB3.
SB3's SMPS is plugged into an outlet within the same room, but on a
different side of the room. (May be same power leg, haven't checked
that).
Moving the SB3 further away helps, but not as much as unplugging.
Thoughts?
