sources to improve sound quality. It doesnt make any difference (to a
SB classic at least).
btw, the power lead has a ferrite core.

Note that USB actually only specifies 500mA, but some ports deliver more
than spec. YMMV.

Funny, I always thought my live album of John Mayer was 96khz. It's
'just' 48khz. I guess I was lucky to choose this one, most of my other
24bit albums are indeed 96khz (and play fine on the Transporter)

else is controlled exclusively by the Squeezeboxserver
software. So, you really should focus on getting familiar with that.

-49,5db is as low the TP goes. At -50db it is totally silent.

painted them by hand. The overall result is pretty good. However, I'm
thinking of letting them spray paint by a pro.

Bass can't get much better by using a Scan Speak 23W woofer in a closed
30 liter enclosure and powered by a good dedicated amp. Don't expect
creating earthquakes with it while watching film.
For high end audio it doesn't have many competition. It's in immensely
detailed and fast.

If you do all the surface prep work, which takes a lot of time
(primare pre30) the system comes to
live.

a certain level, I wouldnt bother at all about SB3 mods (The SB3 is
good enough).

Youve made a lot clear to me on this subject. I will forget the math
and use some common sense instead to find the right attenuation for my
setup. No more questions ;-)
I need to thank you.
So thank you very much indeed.

speakers or ears.
In other words. When the volume is set to 0db, the output is 2v on XLR
and 1 volt on RCA
There must be someway to calculate how much db attenuation I need, in
order to get this done.
Your approach isnt very scientific. I still might feed the amp to much
causing damage

transporter. When I listen to Radio it doesn´t happen. Someone said
that the fridge has a defect capacitor. What can I undertake to get rid
of this very annoying thing?

the Transporter with a digital signal from your DVD nothing
happens. It will not decode AC3 or DTS. You can feed it a PCM stream
though available on some music DVD´s.

I don't know these speakers so I cant comment on that. When you're
testing speakers at least use a decent source. An airport express
doesnt sound any better than your average onboard soundcard.
