easy to tell the difference. But why should we accept a lossy format,
when we can have flac - which is undoubtedly truer to the recorded
sound? I don't think we should just "be happy about it".

ure I would think so after listened for more than a few seconds.
What made me think the MP3 was better, I think was, that it sounded
"firmer", less fussy - which perhaps makes sence - the fussiness or
some sort of "air" in
Seems the problems with the knob are gone (mine would lock up - now it
works fine again - and no noise either). Great work, Slim Devices!

What do I do to upgrade (which files should I download and run)? I am
using Windows (XP). I did this before with FW40, but that was months

works for me as well.
So last night I enjoyed listening to 88.2 recordings from Linn. Great
work, Sean, but perhaps something in FW40 is wrong as to "finishing up"
the installation proces?
