Sure, both interesting, yours will depend a lot on the DAC though. What

That PS tuning effect is known and been communicated numerous
times over a long period of time. Almost any solution reported
over here made a quite substantial improvement
Back in the days when i had my SB3 i used a linear supply simply because
the switching one that came with my box induced HF noise into my amps
that was to spot as very HF chirping. The linear one i had didn´t.
