I downloaded wnaspi32.dll from the link you provided and I placed it in the folder. I tried running EAC and still got the same error. I want to continue trying to get EAC to run because I am still having problems getting slimserver to work. If I can ever get that to work I will then require

The winaspi32.dll file was exactly the thing I was thinking might be your problem. Its a problem that plagues many versions of windows (not just x64). Put it in the EAC folder, and then in EAC, select the pull down: EAC/EAC Options, click on the Interface tab, and switch to installed external

DCtoDaylight, the winaspi32.dll file is in my EAC folder. When I try to open EAC I am unable to get far enough to do what you suggest. In trying to disable the ATT I copied the processes on my computer. I could not find what was suggested I end process on. Any more help from anyone? PLEASE

If you don't mind, lets back up a bit... I really doubt is some sort of 32/64 bit thing, it's usually much simpler. Can you describe the problem with EAC a bit more? The usual issue is that the software starts, but it doesn't see your CD drives. Is this whats going on? Also what operating

EAC is basicly a ripper. It has a few other features, but it's main purpose in life is to rip CD's. If you find some of the tracks that iTunes ripped have skips or other problems, that's the reason for EAC, it's slower, but does a better job ensuring perfect copies. When EAC is configured to

You could use a tagging app like MusicBrainz Picard to get your tags straight. MusicBrainz provides tagging information from an online database ... I find it quite useful, and you can configure it to 'rename' your files and organize them into the folder structure and filenaming convention that

I'm not sure if there's a 64-bit ASPI interface out there... There's one built into Windows XP 32-bit, so hopefully Windows XP 64-bit has one. Nero has one but it's 32-bit. Perhaps they have a 64-bit version. -- Mark Lanctot
