+1 on those Amazon reviews - excellent. I just love the way that every
now and then someone pops in one that [I think!!] is meant to be taken
seriously.

In my mind, not really the point. No matter what it is, it is digital.

they have to justify the cost!). I bet that if it were ohm'd
Looks like a CAT5 patch to me. 24/192 is hardly a lot of data compared
to gigabit ethernet so if they've managed to design a protocol which
somehow requires "magic cable" for that data rate they should be taken
out back and shot (along with the SPDIF guys).

No! this cable is only useful if you have Denon Link equipment (which I
don't).
I'm baffled by why it costs so much, but it is not an ethernet
interface, so maybe it needs a better quality cable?
Still ludicrously expensive (perhaps I

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...SB3+Stontronics PSU - Altmann
JISCO/UPCI - TACT RCS 2.2X with Good Vibrations S/W - MF X-DAC
V3/X-PSU/X-10 buffer
Next would be air spray to clean up the ether for WiFi users?

How strange. This does appear to be a real Denon product and is listed
on the Denon website.
It seems baffling to me given the Denon brand image. I am not in
marketing but I would expect a product like this to devalue the Denon
brand far more than it will ever earn despite a presumably enormous
It will be on Woot.com in a month for 6.95 and I'll get sucked into 3.

There isn't a bullet point on that page to tell me how danceable it is.
I only buy cables that are at least 97.6% danceable.

LOL. No such thing as oxygen free cables because hot air contains

Ignoring the price (which is just STUPID) I think they are claiming that
the Denon Ethernet interface is better for sound quality than SPDIF etc,
rather than the cable actually improving SQ over ethernet...
I think many heare might agree with that.
At least that's the way I read it. YMMV.

brought out the mid-range, the vocals are much clearer and there's extra
shine on the percussion.
