So the notion is either:
a. Get a suitable national body to fund BoM to produce
thermal forecast for all of Aust.
b. Failing that, ask SAGA to bump up the annual fees by $2
per person and get the SA maps made available to SA pilots.

Hi Mal,
I think if you do the no upload no fly you will spoil the whole idea of the
week that is you fly as much and as far as you want and also not all will
have a logger anyway.

Arie,
Our club is contemplating what is needed to correctly show who is flying where,
not for any commercial gain, but Narromine always seems to get the sharp end of
the stick when it somes to promoting the site.
Everyone who visits rightfully tries to promote their own club by continuing to
3 circuits in a 152 ? does that beat .6 ? Hard to say when i started power
instruction though, i dont remember but apparently i could fly a pawnee at
waikerie prior to long pants, or any pants for that matter. Currently not solo,
never get time to finish the bloody thing, dont like the noise..
The bad thing with a intranet site is that the collective visits of all the
pilots will not bring the google ranking of the site from number 9 to number
one.

Mr Rowe (Mark)
Thank you for your insight into Narromine politics!
I have looked at the issue of not filing OLC logs as a big loss to
potential customers from overseas concerning my own club (GCV) recently.

Your point is quite valid not only for letting people

Most likely we will set up email so that pilots can email their declared
task or IGC files.
That's not going to do much for your google ranking either - just chew
quota.
Nick.

Hi Everyone,
Everyone who visits rightfully tries to promote their own club by
continuing to use their home site as the site on OLC, but this is a
negative for Narromine as the locals are very technofobic and tend not
to use this medium.

Hi all,
Unbelievable, only in gliding would such a ludicrous proposition as
punishing people for not entering a contest come up!
I am beginning to see what Mike B and others complain about the GFA /club
system, and why they want to be outside it.
You should encourage and cajole by all
Wayne there is a cost and GFA pays it for you.
The current cost is E4.00 per Australian entrant.
We get an account every year.

But you miss the point completely here Dave. This is NOT an

Hi all,
My apologies Matt, I was referring to Wayne's post about the GCV in respect
to this issue (as per quote in original post), should have changed the
subject line.
So from your post I gather there is no entry or accommodation charge's for
your Narromine week comp then? It is very generous
