Nice camera angle though! Aeros would be good using that mount.

Hi Chris, I ordered a cable from
2 stories from the UK, both true.
1. An ASW20a is rigged, filled with water and a 750km flight declared. (yes in
the UK). The pilot outlands at a different gliding club after dumping water and
having flown 500km. The Pilot gets an arerotow home, and at the piont where the
pilot moves the
prices are also very good.

I agree Mark, all too often we whinge on about nothing on this forum when
productive projects such as this, (which aid to introduce the new generation of

Yeah,
Brought this one up at Kingaroy multiclass when I attempted to fly the Mighty

ASW 19 max wingloading is only 41kg/sqm, what's the LS8? about 54? Even when
you consider only the glide angle, 4% doesn't cover the difference of 39/1 vs

Mike,
I have owned 4 gliders, 2 of them flapped so Iunderstand what you mean by the benefits. You should fly this glider though to see what I mean. I didn't take it over 100 knots in the cruise to see the high speed performance but in the climb it is trully outstanding.

All,
I flew the 18m D2 on te weekend and wanted to convey my thoughts on it. I found it a very easy glider to fly given the wingspan, performance and lack of flaps. infact it was as easy if not easier than a Discus 1.
