Some of our customers are receiving "attachments" called winmail.dat, others
are reporting no attachments at all. Most are receiving the PDFs as
attachments - research so far suggests that these lucky customers are the ones
most like to be using Microsoft Outlook as well.

In Axapta when we send the PDF report through mail then in that case it
sends the mail with PDF file attached with the mail. But the porblem is that
the file name is always 'AxaptaReport' which it takes from
*\Classes\Info\reportSendMail

I have an issue with only certain PDF files. I sometimes get the
following error when attempting to open in Adobe Reader 5.0:

I am not sure if this is possible. I know that if you install the PDF printer you can print to a PDF file format in 2.5. It should be possible to write code to send the PDF file via email if you are using SP4.

In Axapta you need to create the same file, but with the information that you want. Remember you need to copy the same.
