search with the name Salgadinho on it at all lists Manuel Salgadinho as a
reference for his sister, Maria A Machado, 29, who left Sao Miguel and
arrived in Boston 28 Apr 1920 on the Canopic.

Maybe Brio was her maiden name? My grandmother kept her maiden name
of DaCosta until she came to the US where they gave her my
