I am currently trying to find my 4x great grandparents casamentos on the
Ilha Santa Maria. The records are structured differently. I see a lot of
names, including the priests that officiated the wedding. What I do not see
are the participants names followed by filho or filha and their parents
I know this record is not the one I am looking for. As I stated in my
original post it is a smple record for anyone that responds. I do not see
where the couple getting married are listed, nor do I see the word filho or
filha followed by their parents names. This was the fourth of fifth record

You need to see the phrase that the Priest has underlined, which is infacia

If you look at the record on the Right for Manoel Soares you will see the
Priest did use the Filho /Filha for the Bride and Groom and Included the
parents names. The one on the left being a Viuvio or widower it is common
for only the name of previous spouse to be listed.Also don't get
