(One of my thoughts is that Mrs. Philomena MOURA made several trips,
possibly coming over 3 times, with each daughter, starting in ~1905. On
census pages in MA, she is known as Mrs. Phoebe MOURA, and on daughter,
Elsie's marriage record, she was Mrs. Phoebe
the surviving son to jog his memory, and he
has no memory and he does not remember knowing a ROSE family growing up in
Cambridge.(A surviving daughter is currently non-communicative in a
nursing home.)

(An FYI is that my father's grandmother was buried in the cemetery in
Stoneham, MA, and one of her daughters (divorced) was also buried

About a month ago a very helpful researcher offered me information on my
husband's ancestors.He said Mrs. Filomena (da ROSA) MOURA came from
Horta, Faial, but her parents came from both Faial and Pico.She
ugal / Azores.I don't think the cousin
and his wife have found out whether it was the Azores, but I'll check with
them.
The cousin seems to think that some of the family moved to Fall River, MA.

last week. Their oldest son, Charlton PACHECO, died in 1977, leaving a
