younger sister who stayed in Pico with their mother), etc. Three of four of my
maternal grandparents are from Sao Jorge (Calheta), but I know much more about
those lines (Vasconcelos, Valim, Bronco and also an Azevedo!). Also
unfortunately I do not speak or read Portugese. Thanks! Sandy

You
assume that they
married in Rabo de Peixe possible had other children from there but I haven’t
researched it yet.
I have all the records saved on my ancestry.com tree as reference.

I also have most of these people’s children recorded as well that that’s too

Yep! It seems as though after Roque Rodrigues married a second time to Rosa
they began to add "Roque" to the end of their children's names, now
generation down the line all of my family have completely dropped the
Rodrigues and just use Roque.

On Tuesday, September 11,
I too have him in my tree he was my 1st cousin 3x removed. I have traced
the Rodrigues Roque back to when they were just Rodrigues, I had to take a
break from researching and stopped on Gaspar Rodrigues abt 1650. My tree is
on Ancestry, and I have doen my DNA with Family Tree.

On Sunday
Antonio Teodoro married a few times, after my great grandmother died. All her
children stayed in the Azores. But his other children by other wives are the
one who left for the states. I don't know their names so I can't search the US
records for them, I don't even know the names of the other wiv
ldren from this marriages moved to the USA.
All of which would have happened in the middle to late 1900s, making the
records unavailable online.
Any insight would be appreciated

It's a shame it's impossible to trust everyone any longer. My disabilities keep
me home now but I still keep an eye on my laptop. So small & easy to slip away
with a friend of a friend visiting, etc. Sigh, like I said it's a sad
commentary on society that we can't trust ever
