Dear Arno
Thanks for the tip to try 2.1.xx series - I am now running 2.1.28 and it
seems OK. I am trying to mimic the problem that caused bacula to die
especially the director with version 2.0.3.
What I noticed on this "crash" of the director is the backup rate declined
- and swap gets totally ex

This probably means that the problem is with positioning inside
volumes?

No, it's just a device that sits on the SCSI chain and listens for commands
from programs such as mtx. Here, it shows up like this in /proc/scsi/scsi
Host: scsi1 Channel: 01 Id
Then how to I get the changer listed? Do I have to mount the device or do
anything special?

I am trying to migrate my bacula system to a newer machine. I have installed
bacula with mysql with no problems. I installed a Dell PV 132 T to this
machine and ran "cat /proc/scsi/scsi" and got the following results:
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00

Ok, I solved the problem.
To make pkgconfig to see QT was installed, I just had to copy the .pc
files from the qt installation directory to pkgconfig directory :
cp /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3.0/lib/pkgconfig/*.pc /usr/lib/pkgconfig/
Now bacula accepts to configure...
Hope that can help someone

This works for me in linux (64 bit gentoo) as long as I
FI just noticed that the new Bacula RPMs made it into Fedora 7, too. Therefore,
I won't upload F7 RPMs to Sourceforge.
Please note that the Fedora RPMs have a different structure than the RPMs
provided on Bacula's Sourceforge page.
The bacula fd can be found in the 'bacula-client' package.

Hi all,
I'm trying to get this final part of bweb running before I turn our
Bacula system live, and cannot seem to get my head around it. Various
mailing searches and config documentation doesn't seem to point me in
the right place, so I'd appreciate if anyone can spot the problem.

I've now moved to bacula 2.1.28 but it's all the same. Polling does
something but the tape is not mounted, and a manual mount always

Ciao Luca,
may i ask, did you change the fileset after the first backup?
I am not that expert, but another possibility could be that this job is
un-enabled " Enabled = no".
From what i remember is, in this case Bacula always do a full backup.

No, my include files are in /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.3
Hi all,
