I gave a try. So far I had two successful backups now but in between I
also had the error near the end again.
Sounds really weird. I haven't got a clue what could be wrong here...
Thanks a lot

Hello, I have set up bacula to save the backups in an external HD. The HD was

Hi Dan,
a hard link looks like the original file. So it always should have the
same date.
Below you will see that the hard link (second line) has the same date at
the original file.
I created the hard link today but it also has the date from november the
23th.

So what is important for the backup? ctime or mtime?
Both. But you can configure bacula to ignore the ctime.

Hello,
The proper way to resolve this problem is to discuss it on the bacula-users
list as recommended at: http://www.bacula.org - Support. Then if they
believe that it is a software error (impossible for me to determine from what
you have provided since there is no Bacula output provided),

As far as I can see, this option is not set in the RPM spec file

default, you can mail Scott to change this setting. All packagers

Hey there,
I'm new to Bacula and need a simple question answered.

I am having this restore issue with my normal OLD DL7000 drive and a a

am attempt to restore. Some of my vmware files were moved to /lost

The interesting bit was that 99% of a backup jobid concerned exactly 4
