Thanks for y

anyone tell me if it has these vulnerabilities (or others)?

Is this inability to backup more than one client a design requirement,
or is it something that could be implemented but has not?
or do I

Perhaps getting fancy might be justifiable. It seems to me (IMHO) that
the capability to identify files that have already been backed up in
the catalog by a strong checksum would make a good first step in making
base backups work.
Just my 2 cents worth,
ities.
Has the quality and reliability of tapes improved that error recovery is
no longer needed?
Thanks for the info,

Ivan,
I would say any responsible admin has similar problems, which is why
most that I know of use IMAP so they can use (if nothing else) webmail
to get their mail no matter where they are...
Sorry to digress :(

You have to tell it to mount a tape.
just issue the mount command from the bconsole and it will start going.

Hello,
I have Bacula configured on a Redhat Linux server with an SCSI attached
VXA 1x10 Autoloader (1 drive 10 slots).
My questions is how can I tell what tape it is going to use next, or can
I set the order, or does it just go sequentially?
