I'm confused. The tapeinfo output for /dev/sg1 says it is a 'Tape Drive' and of type 'TD4' or LT04, the new supported capacity. Sg0 is the hard drive. I get no output for devices sg3-sg10.  Please explain. Thanks. There should be a separate device for each tape drive and each autochanger.

Yes, i understand that, but when the tape CNH910 got full, bacula unloaded the tape and loaded CNH911, when loading the tape, bacula marked it as used before writing any data to it. So you are saying there was 148GB of data on CNH911 before the job started. Then bacula loaded the volume,

Could it be the schedule..? Well since i havent got a full backup, i manually ran the full backup job. Does this mean that since the job scheduled for the 1st sunday hadnt run, bacula scheduled and tried to run it as if it was the 1st sun? I think so. Shouldnt bacula check for the a full

I want bacula to automatically use File2 when File is full. I assumed labeling it would add it to the pool and it would just use it as it's available and not full. If I edit the jobdefs then when file2 is full I'll have to edit it again to switch back to File... Any ideas ? One option

It looks like I have to stop bacula-sd to use btape. Unfortunately, that kills the backup job in the drive that is currently in process. Anyway to avoid kill this and still using the bscan command? If you can issue an umount on an unused tape drive then you can avoid the need to stop
