I hope this is the right list; there didn't seem to be a different one
listed on Savannah. I should say that I'm fairly new to Emacs and Gnus,
and completely new to BBDB, so I don't have any experience with old BBDB
versions to guide me.
I'm trying to set up

Hi,
I'm using the CVS BBDB along with the most recent No-Gnus.
Which CVS? Are you using BBDB 3.0, from
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/bbdb ? I think the old version isn't
maintained anymore.
I've set bbdb/news-auto-create-p to 'prompt for certain groups.

Attached please find a patch to sort cycling completion candidates by
the text property :completion-cycle-penalty (lower is better).
Thanks

bbdb-mua-pop-up-bbdb-buffer. Or even better, bbdb-insinuate would hook a
function to notice contacts, independently from pop-ups.
I guess from your perspective bbdb-mua-pop-up-bbdb-buffer
Hi, thanks for looking into it!

It seems you are using BBDB 2.xx. Recently BBDB has been upgraded
significantly. You might want to try BBDB 3 which is avaiable
Hi,
I've got an issue with the bbdb-complete-name function. When using
another completion in message mode, such as
(setq message-tab-body-function (lambda () (interactive) (dabbrev-expand
nil)))
, a successful BBDB completion also triggers the dabbrev-expand
completion.
Suppose I've got Bob
