I just received "the letter" in the mail this week, that Lexi is the Top AKC
Agility Berner again, for 2002.
They determine the recipient, through a calculation of: Each Double Q
earned during the year is awarded 10 points, and each MACH point represents
one point. So, your MACH poi
Kris,
Well congratulations! A great brag and a great team, Lexi didn't do it alone!
As for the brag check, why not send it to Joye Neff for the current Berner-Garde
fundraiser? I'd name that Costco Berner Lexi if I were you...

Hi All!
Just had to pass on that Barney (Aussie) finished his Excellent Jumpers
title on Friday after having spent more than a year in open jumpers.
Also Boomer (Berner) picked up two legs towards his Open Standard

consider Abby's jumping style. Does she come down hard or does she jump
very smoothly? Jumping is much harder on the front than the rear,
generally. Also think about your dog's conditioning. Does she just lie

Hi Denise,
My thoughts follow, but I do agility for fun and not competition so this is a
There is a lot that an eight month old can do in agility, but I would not
jump even 12 inches with a puppy. There are so many other things to learn in
agility that there is no rush to jump more than a few inches. Once the
growth plates close, jump training can begin in earnest.
Halo is three

Humph. I'll tell you the secret of "work away" in return for you
I don't know about books, but I bet you can find lots of tips on the agility
berner list.
Contact Kris at [EMAIL PROTECTED] for specifics.

Hi L'ers,
Daisy (now 3 years old) loves her agility classes. My husband Jack has made
several jumps, the tire jump, weave poles (with springs) and is now working
on the dog walk.
Does anyone doing agility know of a good book that suggests ways to teach
your dog how to do the obstacles?
We have returned from Houston Texas. The AKC Nationals were once again a
great experience. Both Lexi and Kintla ran great, and represented the breed
well. Katie and Kintla has a spectacular run on Sunday's "hybrid" course,
which was kind of a combo standard/JWW. Lexi ran that course great too.
