Hi All!
I would like to obtain information concerning carting. Stevie is
miraculously 18 mths old and I would like to try some different things with
him. I have a back pack that I put on him when we are out for our many daily
walks, he carries only his water and mine. But he just loves to put on
r not looking for him more the other night. To think that
he spent the whole night and morning, blind and in excruciating pain burdens
me. He was such a comfort to Stevie when Stevie was first home after his
accident. He put up with Stevie carrying him by the scruff of the neck all
over the house and t
I was panicked.
Of course, I had already felt like I had abandoned my son by moving Stevie
and I into our own apartment, but only because my son Trevor did not want to
leave the community that he has known for the last 15 years. But now that I
am living in the city and away from our small village
Dear List,
For any of you that are tired of "Stevie" stories please just push delete. I
shared this story with a couple of list friends this afternoon about
Stevie's trip to the ocean and was encouraged to post it.
A dear friend of mine, invited Stevie and I to come on a picnic

Hi,
I have heard/seen many dogowners trying this for their dogs. The most of
these dogs have been "problem-dogs" and the most dogs have been hurt of the
collars.
I would not recommend them, not for hairy Berners.

Hi Karen,
One time many moons ago I had a dog recovering from a TPO surgery during a

Dear List,
Things are going along pretty well just now. I really think that Stevie will

Dear List,
Just wanted to let you know that Stevie and I hit a milestone today. I had a
neighbor give me a big huge hand and we loaded Sweet Stevie into my truck
and took him for a drive to the city. We really only went to the Drive thru
for coffee, but it is the first time that we have been out
the Berner
list and of course a very special someone who came to our rescue. Now, for
some information about Sweet Stevie. Stevie is doing very well. He is
walking around the house unassisted and goes out side without his sling. He
is still a wee bit unsteady since he has started going solo, but

actually we have gotten a good response from a few companies. dogon wrote me

create a lending library for apparatus so to speak for berners in need.
there has to be a way to make hugo more comfortable.

Actually, I'm working on that. When Donna wrote about Hugo's
difficulties, I remembered an apparatus that our local referral
surgeon (who does a lot of neck and back surgeries) used for his
neuro patients. I've mentioned it to Donna, and am trying to get
more info on it. Right now, h
Andrea,
You raise an excellent idea, but maybe it should be phrased a bit
differently. Perhaps BEHAF could help finance a set of wheels. We could set
up a special friends fund for Hugo!

Dear List,
Stevie continues to progress, slowly, but I see a difference in his appetite
today. The steroidal factor, I am sure, will soon kick in when his strength
increases and we will have to be careful with his weight. He is less shaky
getting to his feet but still pretty staggery, I do not
Well Stevie has now officially turned the big ONE!! Stevie was born on
January 1, 2002. He was a bit under the weather yesterday (had several bouts
of diarrhea and just not all entirely well) I had given him a new bone on
