Make sure that UPnP is turned off on at least one side (MIP or SC). In
SC it is in the Server/Advanced/Network page. I was told a while back
that they didn't play well together over upnp.
I also removed the music folder setting (just left it blank) from my SC
installation - it only knows about

I'd already increased those settings to 15secs. I've put them at 20 now
but it makes no difference. The stream goes up to 8 or 9 seconds and
then back to 0.
I can't see anything in file types that is disabled.

The default value of Radio Station timeout is 5 secs so perhaps a
timeout is happening.
Try increasing the timeout to something like 20 - it can be found at
Settings/Advanced/Network/Radio station Timeout.

As I suspected - I had left WAV->WAV disabled from a previous test.
RTSP->WAV plays OK with SBC and SBR.

biggest problem, controller info stream is one way. sc doesn't really
have ANY information aside from an id to use for subscription responses.

If you want to stream rtsp as wav make sure you disable wav->flc too.
This is necessary as the server tries to convert to its preferred
format in two stages: rtsp->wav and then wav->flac. But this case
doesn't work very well (if at all) at pcm rates.
Rtsp->wav is working for me on this basis.
FWIW playing a WAV via browse music folder works for me on SB3 and SBR,
using SBC, IR remote or web.
This is on XP.

The status tab on SC7 says "Information on all identified devices
connected to SqueezeCenter". Shouldn't the list also include SBC
devices? I think that would be useful, particularly if we could include
things like firmware, IP, MAC, signal strength, selected player, etc. I

This is just a quick reply but I get problem playing RTSP->WAV with both
SBR and SB3.
This may be a real bug or it may be a just a bad combination of
Filetype settings. I don't think I can investigate fully now.

Looks like the connection to LastFM is failing with a timeout somewhere,
but they are actually receiving the data OK.
This sort of thing happens a lot at the weekend - LastFM don't seem to
believe in out-of-hours support...

OK, I now think this may be a Duet Receiver issue. It appears to play
FLAC OK but not WAV. The rtsp file types is set to convert to FLAC
&/or WAV. Which does it choose in preference? If it's converting to

It must be a real stream problem then - this worked a week or so ago
and all I have done is update using the testing repo ... this is using
a duet receiver rather than an SB3 though, would that make any
difference? What debug flag can I set to get
I've no problem with live or Listen Again streams.
I think BBC servers handle "regions" and so your region could be having
problems and I need not be affected.
Usually "Listen Again" streams work when live streams have problems -

Well, what I did was went to the settings link, right-clicked, copy
shortcut and then pasted the shortcut on my desktop (and I could put it
my quick launch). The shortcut URL is
