Yes, I think this a playback issue. As I said in the first post, it
doesn't sound like the stuttering I had before. That's why I used the
term crackling for it.

I'm off to London this afternoon so don't have time to install a new SC
build. I'll give this a going over when I get back though and report my

Apple will release the new Mac O/S 10.6 (Snow Leopard) tommorrow. I'd
like to upgrade to Snow Leopard early on, but won't do so until I am
able to run SqueezeCenter. I understand version 7.3 won't work with
Snow Leopard. Can the beta of 7.4 be used with Snow Leopard? Is there

Seems to be fixed for me now...

I've seen this a few times. I upgrade Squeezebox Server and when the new
version starts up, some of my players are showing an older playlist from
the day before--or maybe it's from the last time I updated. I have
"Maintain client playlists" enabled in my settings, but it's not saving
them properly

Info Browser is somewhat hidden on the latest menu layout - I think it

other information.

No, I didn't know that.
I don't know how it will know, because nothing needed to be installed before;
installing everything would be almost equivalent, apart f

True. Something to consider if someone wants to spend time merging into one
app.
Would require a slightly more awkward UI to set up, esp. via install

Yes, I've seen this a few times. Got me confused. Certainly seems to pull
back an historic playlist for a player; not the last thing I had played on the
player.

How about two "apps" that use a common support system. If either one is
installed, you get a UI to add/delete feeds from the server list. Then
each app lists those feeds and y
It may depend on how the playlist was generated. I believe there is an
open bug report about MusicIP generated mixes not getting stored and
restored across a server restart. It's possible there are other cases as
