I had already uploaded a couple of the files and Andy said he saw nothing in particular. Since SBS can now scan about a third of the way into my collection, my approach now is to make a copy of the file the scan aborts on, then remove the tags and re-tag it, after which the scan handles that file

Ah it only works in one specific menu the one you get by clicking on the looking glass icon at the top on home or by doing a sucessfull search at any other way you get to search, this confused me, you get the proper search page by either clicking on the link or by doing a valid search first.
