Well, I think the bug should simply be fixed. There's nothing to be said
against having readable filenames under each OS that supports them
(and Windows, Linux, Mac DO).
In one of the latest 7.4 revisions I tested, it worked under Windows
but not under Linux, which makes me think it's one of the

I'm sorry for continuing to bump this subject up, but MusicIP
functionality is very important to me. (Yes, I'm very selfish) As I look
at the comments about bug 13429 that moonbase filed, it appears that

Squeezecenter given the current status of MusipIP the product/company.

I was starting to think that I was the only one using the 7.4 betas with
MusicIP and a Music Library that had a large number of artists, Album

Searching in Bugzilla I found (Bug 4578)
https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4578 which has been
reopened and targeted to be fixed on 8.0. Is this this bug the same or
related to this issue? If so, why is the bug targeted to be fixed on
8.0? From what I can gather 8.0 will be based on a
Sorry for the cross post as I have mentioned this issue in other
threads, but I have received no answers. I do not know if there is
already an open bug on this issue. But at one point I remember that this
issue was raised and a bug was opened and fixed. This happened on a
previous incarnation of
