traditional hotspots are still worth a close look.
Large numbers of Canada Geese have been staging on the Presqu'ile Beach,
perhaps resting up before they migrate to Toronto. Puddle ducks appear

Hi All
Much to my surprise around 7pm tonight I had over 15 Common Nighthawks at the
corner of Richmond and Oxford. They were over the north side of Oxford between
Sydenham St. moving east. It was difficult to count them because of the dusk
but at one point I counted 18.

Black Vulture
Bruce Dilabio spotted an Eared Grebe in Popham Bay, Presqu'ile Park,
Brighton at 9.30 am this morning. The bird is with a group of Horned
Grebes. Best seen from the shingle bank at Owen Point.
