In just over an hour this morning I saw over 1400 Brant moving east to
west past Presqu'ile in 3 big flocks. I was also in the forest some
of the time and may have missed others.
I didn't see the Piping Plover this morning but didn't search the
whole beach so it mig
Jon Pleizier and I checked out some of the trails behind the Ojibway nature
center before work this morning. In just under two hours we had quite a few
pockets of songbirds, though the action wasn't as spectacular as yesterday's
fallout. Highlights include:

A male Scarlet Tanager just arrived a few moments ago.It is eating buds in
a partially open maple tree.
This is in the area of Burton Rd and Rebecca Ave.

Hello Ontbirders.
A Yellow-throated Warbler continues to be seen at the Rondeau Visitor Centre
(e.g., at 8:45 am). It has also been observed this morning at other
locations nearby, including at 10:15 am at a cottage just south of the VC on
Lakeshore Road.

A male Northern Parula Warbler was observed at Cape Hurd this morning,
singing from perches in several birch trees. It stopped singing about
noon.

Point Pelee Drive is the main road entering Point Pelee National Park; 636 is 2

A northen mockingbird has been present in the yard at 9632 Highway 62 north
of Belleville from 12 p.m. to present 5:30 p.m. Working on lawn, woodpile,
shrubs.
Property is about 10 miles north of the 401 at Bellville on the east side of

Prothonotary Warbler - 1-2 males singing there hearts out at Fish Point
Olive-sided Flycatcher - 1 bird at Fish Point - pretty early, watched it pick

this evening. The bird was seen for several minutes, much of it at or
near eye level in small trees over standing water. The views through

I had 3 flocks of Brant in Kingston Harbour today. A flock of about 150 off the
west end of West Brothers Island at about 1030 AM. I then flushed a flock of
about 60 of Salmon Island at 330 PM and another flock of about 120 from West
Brothers Island at about 430 PM. I have know way of knowing if
